Local initiatives

Local initiatives organized by ARC France play a vital role in fostering active, engaged communities and supporting young leaders and entrepreneurs. Through consultations, workshops, and meetups, ARC France creates spaces where young people can gain valuable knowledge, build connections, and exchange experiences.

In 2024 we successfully accomplished several local initiatives:
Empower Youth for Change – workshop

The workshop explored the world of NGOs, international exchanges, and social entrepreneurship. Drawing from the “Together as One” project held in Marrakesh the previous year, we shared tools and strategies for launching impactful projects within the community. This event was ideal for aspiring changemakers aged 16-25.

Erasmus Days – Meet our young changemakers! – Zoom session

Within Erasmus Days 2024 (14.10 – 19.10) participants dove into inspiring stories from past programs participants (Georgia, Morocco, Turkey) and met our volunteers online to discuss student exchanges, volunteer opportunities, and community projects. Our volunteers:  Chris and Louis shared their personal stories from international youth exchanges in half-hour slots and were answering questions and sharing pieces of advice.

Autism Awareness Workshop – April 2

On April 2, ARC France held an Autism Awareness Workshop that focused on non-formal education techniques, sensory-friendly environments, and best practices for inclusive NGO projects. A guest psychotherapist was on hand to answer questions, making the workshop ideal for educators, trainers, and psychologists who work with neurodiverse youth.

Pride Month Workshop – LGBTQ+ Inclusivity

ARC France celebrated Pride Month on June 3 with a workshop covering practical allyship, inclusivity, and supportive environments in NGOs. Drawing on experiences from the “United for NEET” project (Sep 2023), the event explored best practices for managing projects dedicated to LGBTQ+ communities inclusion. Led by our educator Matteo the workshop was open to youth leaders, community members, and inclusivity advocates. The session accommodated 12 participants.
